Square Dance Caller
Start a new annual tradition! Host a daddy-daughter square dance. These dances are a great way for girls and their dads to have a fun night out. A professional square dance caller will teach the basics of square dancing. The girls, with dad as their partner, will dance authentic, old-fashioned American square dances, many of which date back to the 1850's. Our program includes the fun square dance classics: Old Solomon Levi, Duck for the Oyster-Dive for the Clam, Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight and the Virginia Reel. The typical daddy-daughter hoedown lasts about two hours. Call Dave Smith, Square Dance Caller, for more information. Serving Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland and Wayne Counties. *School cafeterias and gyms work great!
